If I Were an Aries
This work is part of the Stardust Journey series, which explores identity, memory, and self-discovery through digital collage and mixed media.
Inspired by Aries, the artwork reflects the drive to move forward and the challenge of knowing when to pause. Flames and sports cars symbolize energy, ambition, and the excitement of new beginnings. They evoke a desire to pursue possibilities, embrace change, and seek answers through action.
At the center of the composition, two symmetrical rams are joined together by stitches. Rather than representing opposing identities, they embody different forces within the self—one urging movement and exploration, the other encouraging reflection and awareness. The stitched forms suggest an ongoing process of balancing instinct with understanding, allowing seemingly contradictory impulses to coexist.
Set against pale purple linen fabric and luminous yellow nebulae, the work unfolds within a dreamlike space between movement and stillness. Within this landscape, growth emerges not from choosing one path over another, but from recognizing the value of both. The artwork invites viewers to consider whether clarity can be found not only in moving forward, but also in returning to themselves.
